Alleluia! Choir is returning to St. George
Father Anastasios has asked our choir to start singing again on a regular basis starting Sunday, November 7th at 9:30 am, the beginning of Liturgy. We know so many of the choir members have reached out to me, wanting to sing again, so of course we said absolutely !!!!
But before we can sing again as a choir, we will need to practice. I don’t know about you, but we are feeling very rusty. We are asking all former choir members and inviting anyone else who wants to sing as part of the choir, to attend practice. We are hoping to have three practices before we sing.
For now, we know we will have practice on Sunday, October 24th and 31st following church services. We are also looking to schedule at least one weekday evening practice. Please try to make all of the practices.
There is a lot that we still have to figure out. So, more information will be coming as soon as it is available. In the meantime, please let us know if you have any questions or comments.
We are looking forward to worshipping and signing with all of you again as a choir.
If you are fully vaccinated you are not required to wear but are encouraged to continue to wear one for the safety of yourself and others, if you are NOT VACCINCATED you MUST wear a mask during services and in our church building at all times. We thank you for your cooperation.
